KTMCC - A United Christian Witness in Kuwait

The KTMCC is known for its uniqueness, as its members from different denominations worship the Lord in one accord and one spirit. KTMCC is an integral part of the National Evangelical Church in Kuwait (NECK), which consists of three language congregations, namely The Kuwait Town Malayalee Christian Congregation (KTMCC), Arab Language Congregation (ALC) and English Language Congregation (ELC). The purpose of KTMCC is to carry on the Christian work as a part of the total mission of the National Evangelical Church in Kuwait.

Membership to KTMCC is open to all who confess their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, and who are active members of any one of the constituent churches in Kuwait and shall sign the membership form. KTMCC has about 900 members at present.

A year of celebrations that was inaugurated on 4th January 2012 ended on 3rd January 2013.

The inaugural meeting on 4th January 2012 was formally opened by the President of NECK Common Council Rev. Ammanuel Ghareeb, where Rt. Rev. Abraham Mar Paulos of Mar Thoma Church, Rev. Binju Varghese Kuruvilla of CSI Church, Rev. Prakash Mathew of St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India, Pastor P. M. Mammachen of Pentecostal Church and Bro. Godly Philip of Brethren Assembly, Rev. Warren Reeve and Mrs. Jacque Zandstra, both from ELC and Mr. M. Mathews had offered their felicitations. The 60th Year LOGO was unveiled by Mrs. Jacque Zandstra.

The closing ceremony was held on 3rd January 2013 which was formally inaugurated by the Indian Ambassador H. E. Satish C. Mehta. During the occasion, Rt. Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Theethos – the Mumbai Diocesan Bishop of Mar Thoma Church delivered the message. Very Rev. K. O. Philipose of Mar Thoma Church, Rev. Binju Varghese Kuruvilla of CSI Church, Rev. Achenkunju George of St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India, Pastor P. J. Samuel of Pentecostal Church and Bro. Godly Philip of Brethren Assembly offered their felicitations.
